  • When do I take Slender 1 Formula?

    You will take one capsule of the Slender 1 Formula first thing in the morning, 30 minutes before breakfast. If you accidentally forget to take Slender 1 before breakfast, take it within 30 minutes after consuming breakfast.

    You will take two capsules of the Slender 2 Formula in the evening, 30 minutes before dinner.

    You should consume one serving of Living Chia With Probiotics with every meal, however consuming one serving first thing in the morning will help keep you full and provide you with energy.

  • What are ketones?

    The body produces ketones when there is a shortage of insulin (from glucose) in the blood and fat is broken down for energy or fuel. Ketones will become present in urine when your body is using fat for energy instead of using glucose.

  • Why do I need to check my ketones?

    You will need to check you ketone levels throughout the day to ensure that your body has reached ketosis. Once your body has reached ketosis, you will be burning fat and losing weight.

  • How do I test my ketones?

    In the Slender System you received, you also received a package of ketone strips. Please remove one strip for immediate use and replace cap tightly. Urinate in a disposable cup. Completely immerse strip into urine and immediately remove it from the container. Compare the test color to the corresponding color chart located on the test strip bottle. Proper read time is critical for optimal results.

  • How much water should I drink?

    You should drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses of water a day. Ideally, you should drink upwards of half your body weight in ounces a day. The more water, the better!

  • What are the common symptoms of ketogenic diet?

    In the beginning stages of the ketogenic diet, you may find yourself feeling fatigued or sluggish, or you may experience some mental fog. This is completely normal and should only last a week.
    You should also expect to lose weight quickly. Since you are replacing carbs for fat as your main source of energy, you will be burning fat fast.

    You should avoid grains, processed foods, sugar, alcohol, sugary drinks, high sugar fruits, and diet sodas. You will want to control your intake of nightshades, beans, peas, lentils, cheese, and low sugar fruits.

  • How many calories should I eat a day during this challenge?

    Women will want to consume between 1300-1500 calories a day, and men will want to consume between 1500-1700 calories a day.

  • How many carbohydrates, fats, and protein should I eat a day during this challenge?

    You will want between 50-75% of your calories to come from healthy fats, 20% of your calories will come from protein, and 5-15% will come from carbohydrates.
    For men eating 1700 calories a day: 850-1275 calories from fats, 340 calories from protein, and 85-255 calories from carbohydrates.
    For women eating 1500 calories a day: 750-1125 calories from fats, 300 calories from protein, and 75-225 calories from carbohydrates.

  • How many meals should I eat a day?

    You will want to eat 3 satisfying meals and 2 snacks per day. Breakfast should be your biggest meal of the day, consisting of roughly 500 calories. You will want your lunch to be medium sized and consisting of roughly 400 calories. Your dinner will be your smallest meal of the day, consisting of roughly 300 calories. You will then have two 100-calorie snacks throughout the day to keep your metabolism running efficiently!
